少年Pi的奇幻漂流 (Life of Pi) 由同名小說改編，作者為加拿大的Yann Martell。故事描述印度男孩在太平洋上與成年孟加拉虎同船而撐過兩百二十七天的生存故事!!!
故事裡的印度少年皮辛·墨利多·帕帖爾，家裡開動物園，所以男孩對動物十分了解。在與父母跟哥哥前往加拿大的過程中，他們與動物園動物搭乘的輪船「奇桑號」因不明原因意外沉沒。在混亂之中，皮辛被水手丟上一艘載滿動物的救生艇。上面有一隻鬣狗、一隻紅毛猩猩，以及一隻孟加拉虎，皮辛運用他的動物知識與動物和平共處，靠著宗教信仰堅定意志，在太平洋上撐過了兩百二十七天。
