六分鐘序幕開始以高登局長(蓋瑞歐德曼)回顧雙面人哈維丹特的告別式。
之後則是CIA轉移Pavel博士的場景。CIA發現除了Pavel博士之外，多了三個戴面罩的犯人，談話中知道那三個人是受雇於反派班恩的傭兵，他們是在抓Pavel博士時被逮到。飛機上，CIA想要得到更多有關班恩的情報。沒想到在逼問的時候，原來班恩就混在戴面罩的犯人裡面。本集反派班恩(湯姆哈迪)在高空飛機登場，用超誇張的方式支解了一台飛機逃脫(非常威猛的登場方式)!!! 原來被逮到，是他的計畫的一部分。同時，在對話裡有提到，班恩臉上的面罩如果拿下來，他會受到巨大的痛苦。(這麼明顯的弱點?!)而最後，班恩將Pavel博士的血取出、還有部下留在飛機內，都是為了營造無人生還的假象。
序幕結束，最後出現一連串人物的畫面，並帶到破碎的蝙蝠俠面罩!!!!
之後，也公佈了新一波的黑暗騎士:黎明升起#2版預告片段。
