SkyFall，導演山姆曼德斯表示
片名是描述龐德心情上的狀態。記者會上導演、製作群、演員茱蒂丹契、新龐德女郎貝納尼絲瑪爾洛、娜歐蜜哈瑞絲、丹尼爾克雷格、反派哈維爾巴登等人都參與出席。
關於龐德女郎，瑪爾洛透露會是迷人又神祕的角色叫Severin，哈瑞絲將飾演探員Eve，不知是否為M的秘書。記者會現場倫敦Corinthia Hotel，曾是國防部辦公室，也會作為拍攝場景，還會在Whitehall大道上拍攝，去中國上海、伊斯坦堡、蘇格蘭偏遠地區等地。
導演解釋目前沒出席的演員，有班維蕭、雷夫范恩斯、亞伯芬尼，角色名字目前不能透露。
劇情，根據新聞稿描述：「當M的過去回頭糾纏M，龐德對M的忠誠將受到考驗。當M遭受攻擊，007必須追查並消滅威脅，不論個人將付出任何代價...。」
